When you have been through trauma, it can feel like the world is against you. You’re constantly on edge, reliving the worst moments of your life over and over again. You might feel like you’ll never be able to move on. And maybe you have tried weekly therapy sessions with no fruition and are looking for something different that will help you get back on your feet.

At Intensive Therapy Retreats, we understand what you’re going through. We offer 3-5 day private Mental Health Retreats for survivors of PTSD, trauma, and child and sexual abuse. Our proven methods and experienced team of therapists can help you finally start to heal.

Here are just a few things you should expect:

A safe and welcoming environment

At Intensive Therapy Retreats, we believe in the power of nature to heal the mind, body, and spirit. Our location on acres of stunning land allows our clients to benefit from time spent outdoors in fresh air and sunshine. Research has shown that time spent in nature can reduce stress levels, improve mood, and promote relaxation. We are also located in different areas, so you can find a retreat near you. You can find us in Northampton, East Granby, Beacon, and Auburn.

Highly trained staff

Our therapists have all licensed professionals with experience working with clients who have endured trauma. They include Dr. Bambi Rattner, Psy.D. who is trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

She also practices other approaches, including utilizing Internal Family Systems (IFS) during sessions to facilitate emotional processing and more.

Good Reputation

A good reputation is important for any organization, especially for an organization that offers Trauma Therapy Retreats. Trauma therapy can be very intimate and personal, and people considering attending a retreat need to know that they can trust the organization. Intensive Therapy Retreat is considered one of the Best PTSD Treatment Centers. This reputation will give you the confidence needed to take the first step toward healing.
